Read through the majority of reviews and can add the following. This (IMHO) is the best Ruben sandwich around. The city has many varieties but this one takes the prize. Pro tip: upgrade the fries to garlic fries and add a side of dill ranch. In regards to the negative posts, the service at lunch was spot on. Sitting at the bar is the move but the dining room had attentive service. The beer selection is massive and they have daily specials. I'm from out of town and came for the history and storied Ruben. It was worth the trip. The bar (pun intended) has been set very high and this is what I will rate other versions off of.
Came here since Rueben's were recommended from this place. Luckily when we came, there were unlimited mimosas and we love a good unlimited deal. The server was super attentive and chill, And i dug how cool the place was decorated. We ordered two Ruben's, which were actually really good. Would def come back.
Beer? Theres beer here? Why I guess there is! I was distracted by the amazing Ruben sandwich. You can't go wrong with having this in the town this sandwich was invented! The ambiance here is awesome. The kind of place I want to be in when I'm in the mood for a beer. Friendly staff, comfortable seating at the bar, and easy parking.
Oh baby. This Reuben sandwich was the bee's knees. It was delicious and I can see why they claimed to have invented this sandwich! We asked the bartender to make our beer red! And it was... interesting. Omaha is known for their red beer!
